Join Jeff Fuhrer,  former Senior Policy Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, as he discusses his new book The Myth That Made Us.  His book explores the link between widely held, but false narratives, about poverty and race and poor outcomes for many in the U.S. economy.

Jeff is a Fellow for the Brookings Institution, a Foundation Fellow for the Eastern Back Foundation and recently finished a 2 1/2 year term as a senior fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government where he researched the Federal Reserve's new monetary policy framework, and sources of the racial and ethnic wealth gaps.
