Citizenship Classes

In partnership with St. Mark Community Education Program, this class will meet for 10 consecutive weeks to help prepare students for all parts of the Citizenship test, including: the 100 civics questions about U.S. history and government, as well as the reading and writing parts of the exam. For those who need technical and legal help with completing the N-400 application, St. Mark Community Education Program partners with MIRA Coalition to provide these services for free. 

Enrollment Requirements: 

  • Basic to Intermediate-level English
  • Legal Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) for at least 4 years and 9 months (or 2 years and 9 months if married to a U.S. citizen).
  • Please register for the class, you must be registered to attend.

We strongly encourage all students attend at least 8 out of 10 classes.  Limited spots, advance registration is required. Enrollment is open from July 31st - August 31st. The first class is held on Saturday, September  7th and will run for 10 weeks. This is a free class, and your attendance is important in learning what is needed to pass the citizenship exam.

Note: Registering more attendees than spaces available will automatically place your attendees on this event's wait list.
