Early Release -- Learn 3D design with Tinkercad

Wednesday, February 222:00—3:30 PMMeeting RoomActon Memorial Library486 Main Street, Acton, MA, 01720

Tinkercad is a free-of-charge, online 3D modeling program that runs in a web browser, which mean that it will run on a Chromebook, as well as a PC or Mac. There's even an app so you can use it on an iPad (sorry, there's no app for Android tablets). We have 10 Chromebooks to use for the class, but you may bring your own laptop as well. If you bring your own laptop, please bring a 3-button mouse as well.

In this workshop, we will learn the basics of using Tinkercad to build a model for 3D printing. We'll also hold a drawing to get one lucky person's model printed next week (terms and conditions apply).

Please make sure to create a free Tinkercad.com account before class. Don't forget to ask your parents' permission first.
