The first 100 children to register in person will receive a free book.

This summer, we will again be offering a Reading & Beading program to keep track of your summer reading. As your minutes of reading time add up, you’ll be able to add more and fancier beads to your own customized necklace.

Fill Your Stampbook

In addition to your reading log, you’ll also receive a blank stampbook. For each task you complete, you will get a new stamp. Get at least 10 stamps, and you’ll get a special bead for your necklace.

Artist Trading Cards

This summer, instead of receiving trading cards, everyone will make their own.

The Children’s Room will have a wall display of handmade trading cards from other patrons and staff. You may take cards as long as you replace them with ones you make yourself, using pencils, crayons, paint, or collage. Make them at home or at one of our special workshops. We’ll supply the blank cards, you supply the art!
