FAQ:
What is a role-playing game?
A role-playing game is a story-telling game of make believe. It is usually led by one person who acts as the referee, also known as the Game Master or Dungeon Master. This person creates the framework of an adventure or mystery, and acts as the judge in interpreting the rules.
The players are the heroes of the story. Acting cooperatively, they shape the story by fulfilling the quest, solving the mystery, rescuing the prince, etc. Success in casting magic, combat, or any other action is determined by rolling dice.
