Acton Libraries to celebrate Women's History Month!

On March 20th the Acton Memorial Library will celebrate women's history month with the with the first annual purchase of books for, by and about women using the trust funds left by Kitty Kinsley. Kitty Kinsley, a life-long resident of Acton was a teacher, stalwart Town Meeting member and a charter member of the League of Women Voters and the Acton Woman's Club. There are few who remember her positive impact on the town and that's what the Library intends to celebrate. At the same time there will be tributes to other Acton women who, through their volunteer efforts, made a positive impact. Those so honored worked in all aspects of the town government, schools and social organizations.

The celebration will take place in-person from 6:30-8PM in the Library Meeting Room. Refreshments will be served. This live in-person event will also be streamed via Zoom to anyone who cannot attend in-person. To access the Zoom link, please register in advance here: http://tinyurl.com/bde8xaw8
