Hosted by the India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB),  and in collaboration with Burlington Public Library, this series of four programs explores some of India's exciting facts, places, people, and architecture.

 Apr. 11 program : Ten Hidden Beautiful Places in India, by Roopesh Mathur

   Where in the world can you walk on a living tree bridge in the rainiest place in the world? See tea being grown and harvested as you watch monsoon clouds roll in below you? Where can you sleep in a royal bed overlooking a beautiful lake? How about gazing out at the tallest mountains in the world from your hammock? Which of these places featured in a James Bond movie in the 1980s?

   These places are lovely and romantic and are thronged by Indians in their summer vacation or for a romantic getaway any other time of the year. In this session, you will learn about ten beautiful unknown places and how to get there!

IAGB is an oldest Indian American community organization in greater Boston area. In their words," We are dedicated to work for civic, community, social and cultural causes. We at IAGB are very excited to bring Discover India series to the library patrons- To excite and ignite the community and bring awareness in an engaging manner."

IAGB has collaborated with Shishu Bharati (A Indian Languages & Cultural School) to present the Discover India series with Acton Memorial Library and Burlington Library.

These programs are suitable for middle schoolers, teens and adults.
