Early Release -- 3D design using Tinkercad with Minecraft
Wednesday, February 162:00—4:00 PMZoom
3D design lesson, using Tinkercad with Minecraft.
Tinkercad is a free-of-charge, online 3D modeling program that runs in a web browser, which mean that it will run on a Chromebook, as well as a PC or Mac. There's even an app so you can use it on an iPad (sorry, there's no app for Android tablets).
Tinkercad is a great and easy way to get started with design for 3D printing, but you can also design models for use in Minecraft as well. In this workshop, we will learn the basics of using Tinkercad to build a model to import into next week's Early Release program featuring Minecraft.
You don't need to own Minecraft to use Tinkercad, however, so if you just want to learn some 3D design, you may still sign up.
Please make sure to create a free Tinkercad.com account before class. Don't forget to ask your parents' permission first.
