Early Release -- Learn 3D design with Tinkercad

Wednesday, April 132:00—4:00 PMMeeting RoomActon Memorial Library486 Main Street, Acton, MA, 01720

Tinkercad is a free-of-charge, online 3D modeling program that runs in a web browser, which mean that it will run on a Chromebook, as well as a PC or Mac. There's even an app so you can use it on an iPad (sorry, there's no app for Android tablets). You'll need to bring your own laptop, Chromebook, or iPad to the library. A 3-button mouse is highly recommended.

In this workshop, we will learn the basics of using Tinkercad to build a model for 3D printing. We'll also hold a drawing to get one lucky person's model printed next week (terms and conditions apply).

Please make sure to create a free Tinkercad.com account before class. Don't forget to ask your parents' permission first.

If you have any questions, please email me at rcarter@minlib.net.

Or suggest one yourself!
