(Virtual) Literary Café - From Memories to Memoirs: Two Writers Discuss Authentic Storytelling This program is presented in partnership with several MA libraries and is sponsored by the Cary Library Foundation. Memoir is an ever-growing and popular area of literature, and for this session of the Cary Literary Cafe, E.B.Bartels, native Lexingtonian and author of GOOD GRIEF, and Neema Avashia, author of ANOTHER APPALACHIA, will join Lexington author and host Marjan Kamali to discuss the different ways one can approach writing memoir, how to find inspiration when dealing with difficult aspects of one’s past, and the importance of mentorship in the writing and publishing journey.
